Notice as of 9/20/2017: The CoastWatch processing routines may be affected by scheduled hardware maintenance between the hours of 9:00 am and 12:00pm on 9/20/2017. We apologize for any inconvenience. -- WARNING Notice as of 1/22/2018: Due to the federal government shutdown, satellite imagery provided by NOAA is not currently accessible. Until access is restored no new satellite imagery can be downloaded and processed. -- Notice as of 9/30/2016: Server maintenance will be conducted at NOAA CoastWatch Great Lakes Regional Node on Monday, October 3. Service interruption is expected to last for 2 hours. -- Notice as of 12/26/2017: NOAA GLERL is experiencing a temporary outage in internet connectivity. We are unable to proccess new satellite imagery until that outage is restored. -- Notice: The Great Lakes surface water temperature estimates presented in this website are automatically generated from satellite-derived sensors. Obvious errors or anomalies may be present in the resulting images as a result of satellite sensor malfunctions, adverse atmospheric conditions, or processing errors. Please notify us immediately about any errors or anomalies you observe in our products.
